Facilities Manager

PH Tool is seeking a dependable, hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee the upkeep, maintenance, cleanliness, and general condition of our 45,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Pipersville, PA.

This position is responsible for keeping our buildings, grounds, and workspaces clean, organized, safe, and well-maintained. The role combines daily facility upkeep with preventive maintenance, basic repairs, improvement projects, and coordination of outside contractors.

Responsibilities include maintaining polished concrete and epoxy shop floors; general custodial upkeep of manufacturing, office, and common areas; stocking facility supplies; basic plumbing, electrical, and handyman projects; exterior grounds maintenance; seasonal snow and ice removal; and oversight of building systems and outside service contractors.

The Facilities Manager will take ownership of facility-related projects, identify maintenance needs before they become problems, and work with management to prioritize repairs and improvements. This is a hands-on position rather than a supervisory or administrative management role.

The ideal candidate has experience in industrial or commercial facilities maintenance, building services, construction, custodial management, or a related hands-on trade. Strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand and power tools, good organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are important. Experience coordinating contractors and maintaining industrial buildings is a plus.

This is an active position requiring extended standing and walking; bending, reaching, and kneeling; use of ladders and maintenance equipment; and regular lifting and carrying of items weighing up to approximately 50 lbs. Heavier items are handled using appropriate material-handling equipment.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional flexibility for weather conditions, contractor visits, and facility needs.

Packing / Shipping Specialist

PH Tool is seeking a careful, dependable Packing / Shipping Specialist to handle the packaging, shipping, and receiving of custom-manufactured precision products at our Pipersville, PA facility.

Our products include highly specialized machined reference standards, often manufactured to exacting customer specifications. Proper handling and protective packaging are essential to ensuring these valuable, one-of-a-kind products arrive safely at destinations throughout the United States and around the world.

Responsibilities include carefully packing finished products; operating our sealed-air foam packaging system; constructing custom wooden crates, boxes, and shipping skids; preparing packages for parcel and freight carriers; receiving customer-supplied parts and production materials; loading and unloading deliveries; and maintaining a clean, organized shipping and receiving area.

The position works closely with our Operations, Sales, and Manufacturing departments to ensure accurate handling and timely shipment of completed orders. Our busiest shipping and receiving period is generally 1:00–5:00 PM. Routine shipments of stocked standard products are handled separately by our stockroom.

The ideal candidate has experience in shipping and receiving, warehousing, packaging, material handling, woodworking, or a similar hands-on field. Exceptional attention to detail, good organizational skills, mechanical aptitude, and comfort using hand and power tools are important. Experience with custom crating, foam packaging equipment, and freight handling is beneficial. Forklift training can be provided.

Wire EDM Machinist

QA Specialist

PH Tool is seeking a skilled Quality professional to assist with the successful implementation of ISO 17025.  Experience with quality systems, vendor audits, corrective action, procedure writing, and working with registrars would be most applicable. Real-world experience working with both ISO 17025 and ISO 9001, and Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt skills would be beneficial. Quality Control/Materials Coordinator

This unique position combines several important responsibilities at PH Tool into one new position. This person will be responsible for the following:

• Ordering of raw material
• Vendor selection and negotiation
• Incoming material inspection and organization
• Maintenance and organization of Material Test Report (MTR) pdfs on server
• Positive Material Identification (PMI) using X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) technology
• Pres-scanning of raw material via ultrasonic testing (immersion and contact methods)
• Raw material layout and sawing of blanks for the CNC milling and EDM departments
• QC inspection of finished product using variety of measurement tools (micrometers, video inspection systems, indicators, height gages, CMMs, and more)

Ideal candidate has some exposure to and interest in manufacturing/machining including use of measurement tools. Must be super-organized and self-starting. Position has lots of autonomy and you will need to prioritize daily. Variety of tasks will keep this person involved in many areas and will be a tremendous help to the machinists and toolmakers in the shop. We will train the right candidate on use of the specialized equipment needed to perform this job.
